As a youngin, I'd massage my mom for " 5 more minutes" for 35 mins ... probably giving back to her from my 1st few years showed me correlation and touch and how to encourage high anxiety and busyness to calm is where my facilitation of neutral touch really started

to actually being annoyed I would always massage gfs + friends... wondering why do I want to do this for everyone? Not knowing it would choose me first in my late 20s ... where I did for side $ - did I start to see people transform from my touch... they would sit up, roll over and look and feel completely enhanced.

"wow that was amazing" they would say

and I would be like "really!?"

Then one of them gave me a $300 donation

+ I said "REALLY!!??"

So coming off a torn knee in 3 places, approaching go ahead to not have crutches, I met a massage school counselor, and toured the place and everything felt right. I have always been guided off the beaten path because the regular go to college path and get a regular job that so many felt miserable and insufficient at ... was never for me... As an entrepreneur, highly sensitive person and caring so immensely for others I wanted to be involved in something where I was giving to others

I got into the business to erase pain by then with 13 years of competitive hockey player, + 10 years body building + several serious bone breaks and tears ... I felt like I understood the body more then most... and still agree masseurs booked should be current or x athletes because of their superior understanding of human body ...

So went into medical study such as:

deep + light tissue reflexology sports
trigger point fascia unwinding lymph

with energy based partial study in:

cranial-sacral therapy polarity breath work

LINK what is the difference between these + how are they actually addressing the same system

Upon going through massage school I realized I was going to absolutely thrive in this trade. I continued to get amazing comments, especially from massage professionals, and then when in free clinic again experiencing more and more "wows". From the beginning I was private + never worked in clinic besides at school. For many reasons besides knowing and being compensated 3-4 x then 70-90 x hr which spa therapists receive my worth and independant ambitions in business.

LINK : why hiring private is worth the higher investment then going to a clinic

I immediately had a 30 yr mentor that lived with me while at my 1st school going through their 750 hr program to license, he said, "Brad get to 1000 sessions + then adjust..." So I listened and because I wanted people to put their $ where my hands are ... I gave $60 sessions to get very very good.

Now 8 years + 1300 sessions later + 1500 hours of formal study as well as active study on social media from the mot effective anatomy + mind body healers of our time.

being a facilitator with loving touch is in my blood:

  • my gmas taught me the softest and sweetest hugs - what I remember most from my dads mom.

  • my mom who showed me coregulation as a very rowdy and difficult baby to now special ed teacher

  • my son massaged his mom and gma for $ its in our blood !!

think I am right for your massage or breath?
